I am currently a Primary school Performing Arts teacher full-time and part time VCE music teacher ‘after hours’, a couple of nights a week. I was also a university Sessional Academic for a little while, teaching ‘teaching’ at Masters and Bachelors level. For what it’s worth, I’m a huge fan of the Orff approach to teaching music.

Before all that, I had a drum and percussion teaching business for 10 years and while I don’t teach drum lessons very often anymore, I am occasionally involved in (or available for) consultative work – particularly for VCE music. Below are the drum books I wrote in 2007 and 2010 – both of which have been selected to study in ANZCA and/or VCE exams.
